Who We Are

Cocoa Diaries is the #1 resource created for Black collegiate women by Black collegiate women. Despite being one of the most educated demographics, Black women pursuing higher education are forced to endure hostile educational environments, lack of mentorship, and scarce scholastic resources. That’s where we come in!

Why We Do What We Do

“The Cocoa Diaries platform is, screaming Black Girl magic with the vibrant use of the color cocoa, and providing so much insight for Black girls attending college today, from academic and self-care tips to social justice concepts. All of these features make for an astounding platform to provide information and beneficial advice for Black girls attending prestigious colleges and universities today.

“My favorite thing about the platform you all have created with Cocoa Diaries would have to be the aesthetic of the brand paired with the genuine want to see other girls strive! Watching Black girls who are only a few years older than me so openly take the initiative to help cultivate a table for us all to sit at is so inspiring.
