Cocoa Diaries is uniquely positioned to understand and break down the barriers Black women face when accessing collegiate resources. Diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives should not have a one size fits all solution for all minority students, which is why our resources are tailor made to fit the unique needs of Black collegiate women.

As we work to build a pipeline between Black collegiate women and pre-existing resources, we also work to actively us create new resources using our knowledge if the specific challenges Black collegiate women face.

While the majority of our resources apply to any students of color, we do primarily focus on supporting Black female students.  

We host a mix of in-person and virtual events that focus on academic, professional, and social development. In the past, we have hosted pop-up shops for Black collegiate women starting their own businesses as well as panel discussions to ease pose graduate transitions.
