Education is the key that unlocks a brighter future, and at the Farrukh Foundation, we believe every child deserves to hold that key. Our story began with a remarkable journey by four siblings \u2013 Humzah, Qasim, Umiemah, and Omar. Raised in Vancouver, Canada, their dream of a top-tier education led them on a 1300-mile trek to Los Angeles, setting their sights on UCLA. Through sheer dedication, all four siblings transferred from a community college and secured their spots at this prestigious university at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n

Witnessing the transformative power of education firsthand, the siblings felt a responsibility to create opportunities for others. This collective passion fueled the birth of the Farrukh Foundation. Our inaugural project in Pakistan solidified our core mission: building schools and ensuring educational equity for children around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Farrukh Foundation\u00a0<\/span><\/span>aims to support first-generation students who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership potential, and a commitment to community service.<\/p>\n

    Applications are due September 15th, 2024<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Decisions will be released no later than December, 15th, 2024<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Open to High School and College students<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    Eligibility Criteria<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    1. First generation status<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    2. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5 GPA on 4.0 scale<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    3. Currently enrolled as a full-time student<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

    4.
